Description

🕊️ About the Event: Sant Swami Naam Dev Ji Punyatithi Samaroh

The Sant Swami Naam Dev Ji Punyatithi Samaroh is a spiritual and cultural gathering organized annually to commemorate the life, teachings, and social contribution of Sant Naam Dev Ji, one of the most respected saints of the Bhakti Movement. This year, the program was held on 03 July 2025 at Divine Resort, Manjhariya, NH-28, Sant Kabir Nagar, and was hosted by Rajendra Prasad Sewa Sansthan.

Sant Naam Dev Ji was a beacon of spiritual devotion and social justice. He spread the message of universal love, equality, and the oneness of God, rejecting caste discrimination and religious barriers long before social reform became a mainstream movement. His compositions, filled with humility and divine wisdom, are preserved in various religious texts including the Guru Granth Sahib.

The aim of the event is to honor his legacy and spread awareness among the community, especially the younger generation, about the values he lived by — devotion with dignity, faith with freedom, and service with compassion. The Punyatithi is not only a day of remembrance but also a platform to connect people across backgrounds through devotional music, cultural performances, discussions, and collective prayer.
